VIBES..
romper FROM vi vi boutique
So this outfit has definitely been a vibe for me. When I saw this soft, dark blue, long sleeve, sexy romper at a boutique, I knew I had to buy it. What caught my eye was the sexy cut cleavage that stood out. I knew a silver V neck necklace or a statement piece would complete this outfit. I didn’t want the jewelry to be too much because I wanted it to look comfortable. After all, I was going to the most relaxing and comfortable place of them all, Jamaica!
I was so excited to be on a “mini vacation” and get back to traveling since I’ve been so focused on my career and work. It was now time to be at peace, thank God! This vacay has been one of the best. Learning to have no worries through it all, through the ups and the downs. Getting back to the basics and just being eternally happy, even when things go wrong.
On my first day coming to Jamaica it was raining. I was sad because I hate rain. It instantly either makes me sleepy or saddened. I don’t know why, it always has. I thought dang, all of my plans had been ruined. On the first day my sister and I couldn’t view the beach or go out because all it did was rain. The forecast showed that it was going to be raining for the rest of the week, and that meant the rest of our vacation. But we prayed that the rain would stop and our prayers were answered quickly.
On the next day it stopped raining. We knew it was because we prayed. And when it did it only drizzled and stopped. The receptionist from our hotel stated, the rain stopped for you ladies! And I believed it did. When we stepped out of our hotel seeing the sun and the ocean compliment each other is what “gave me life”!
It’s the simple things that God put on the earth to help us maintain made us grateful. The natural beauty gives us more beauty than the portrayed. Feeling the sun on my skin and my anxiety shifting away was priceless. Feeling the wind blow through my hair at the same time kept a smile on my face. It was like God’s way of saying everything will be alright.
The people I met in Jamaica was amazing! I love how they are internally happy no matter their situation. Some were struggling but still had the spirit of the happiest person in the world. They were hard working people that didn’t have much, but were thankful for everything. There was a lesson in everything because they were also hustlers. Some of them charged us more than what was the usual, but that’s how they make their money to survive. & I have to admit the services was well worth it. The hospitality was a pleasure to receive.
So anytime I put on this outfit,I will remember the way I felt in it, the people met, and the lessons I learned. This romper will always hold memories of my experience; and anytime I wear it I will share the experiences.
